MCM Net are extremely pleased to sponsor the Kent CEO Network, a community of CEO’s from nonprofit organisations who meet on a quarterly basis to share ideas, discuss challenges and to meet new people.
Set up in 2016 by Gill Gibb, CEO at Tree of Hope and Sarah Pugh, CEO at Heart of Kent Hospice, the network has been going from strength to strength ever since.
Each event hosts a different guest speaker, who takes to the floor with a subject of mutual interest. In the past year we have had representation from Kent County Council, Kent Integrated Care Alliance and the former Minister for Sport, Civil Society and Loneliness. Chatham house rules apply and open and frank debates/discussions are encouraged.
As the sponsor for the Kent CEO Network, it feels great to be a part of something that can really have a positive impact on local charities.
Want to hear what some of our members think?
“I value these networking events as it’s a good opportunity to share similar issues faced by fellow Charity Chief Executives. I also think it helps to hear from key people from local councils as their time is used more effectively when hearing the collective voice of our organisations.”
Chief Executive, The Children’s Trust
“The Kent CEO Network affords encouragement and understanding from like-minded charity leaders who are also attempting to navigate against a tide of inadequate funding and little expectation of improvement that has created a shared sense of disquiet as the growing numbers of vulnerable people that we want to reach become increasingly marginalised as they struggle to access services.”
Chief Executive, Rapport Housing & Care
“I think the forum is insightful, productive and extremely relevant”
Chief Executive Officer, Fegans
